Filtering water for a family one mouthful at a time is not a plan. The Gravitywell is the household-scale answer: fill the 1-gallon reservoir, hang it from a door or a branch, and gravity pulls the water through the filter while you do something else. No pumping, no power, no standing there.
During a boil-water advisory it quietly turns the bathtub reserve into drinking water. On a campout it does the same for the creek.
Honest limits, same as always: it removes bacteria and protozoa. It does not remove viruses or chemicals. When those are the risk, boil or use tablets.

How is this different from the Field Straw?
The straw filters as you drink, one person at a time, straight from the source. The Gravitywell fills a bag that you hang, and gravity pushes the water through into a container, so you can fill bottles and pots for a household. The same filtration limits apply to both.
Do the filters remove viruses or chemicals?
No. Our filters reduce bacteria and protozoa. They do not remove viruses, heavy metals or chemicals. We publish that on every product page, because a filter that is oversold is worse than no filter at all. If you need virus or chemical removal, we would rather tell you now than after you have paid.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive 7 to 14 days from the day you order, not from the day it ships. Shipping is free over $75 and a flat $7.45 below that. You get a live tracking link the moment it ships. Larger orders may arrive in more than one package so nothing waits on anything else, each tracked, at no extra cost.
What if it is not right for us?
You have 30 days from delivery. Email support@strongholdoutfitters.com with your order number and send it back for a full refund. No restocking fee and no reason required.
